Gov. Seyi Makinde Bags Governor Of The Year 2023 Award
The Leadership Newspaper has awarded the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde as the Governor of The Year 2023.
Makinde was selected by the Leadership Newspaper as recipient of its prestigious Governor of the Year Award on account of the massive infrastructure development projects and good governance in Oyo State, under his watch.
The newspaper, during a visit by its management, hailed Governor Makinde for the quantum leap made by Oyo State in the areas of economic growth as well as other excellent achievements across different sectors.
The governor, who maintained that the award will spur his administration to do more for Oyo State, will personally pick up the award at a ceremony billed to take place at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, by 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
In the light of this, the Forum of Oyo state Chairmen of Commissions and Director Generals of Parastatals has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde over the Leadership Governor of the Year 2023 Award.
In a statement jointly signed by the chairman of the forum, Alhaji Kamorudeen Aderibigbe and secretary, Rt Hon Musah Abdulwasi, PhD, the forum hailed Governor Makinde for distinguishing himself by ensuring the dividends of democracy get good people of Oyo state.
