Ooni to Visit Olubadan-Designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja Today

His Imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, is set to pay a historic visit to the Olubadan-designate, Oba (Sen.) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, in a move aimed at strengthening unity and deepening traditional ties between the two foremost Yoruba thrones.
The visit is expected to take place today, between 10 am and 1 pm
This visit has been described as a major step towards promoting peace, cultural understanding, and solidarity among Yoruba monarchs.
While the visit is not just ceremonial, it is symbolic of the unity which must continue to be upheld among Yoruba traditional institutions.
The Ooni’s visit to the Olubadan-designate is a testament to the strength and respect royal fathers have for one another. It sends a powerful message to people about harmony and mutual respect.
In the same vein, all Olubadan-in-Council, High Chiefs, Ibadan Mogajis, Baales, CCII, Babalojas, Iyalojas, political functionaries and other eminent sons and daughters of Ibadanland are expected to come out in large numbers to give the Ooni a rousing welcome, underscoring the collective spirit and pride of the people.
