Ola Backs Kamorudeen For Lagelu LG Election, Urges Constituents to Vote PDP Massively

A business mogul and political stalwart in Ward 10, Polling Unit 9 of Lagelu Local Government Area of Oyo State, Ola Olalekan Olanrewaju, popularly known as ‘Ola wa adara’, has urged voters in his constituency to vote en masse for the chairmanship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, on Saturday, 27th of April, 2024.



The chairman of Lewaj Group, also publisher and CEO of Ibadan Media Ltd, Olanrewaju, in a press statement released today in Ibadan, expressed his support for the PDP candidate in his constituency, Hon. Kamorudeen, and prayed for his victory in the upcoming local government election, along with other candidates.



“As a native of Aiyegunle in Offa, I am committed to the progress, growth, and development of Lagelu, my hometown. This is why I refuse to remain neutral or passive; I choose to be actively involved in the political system of my dear state. Today, I stand in support of Kamorudeen. He brings fresh perspectives and ideas, and I believe he will contribute significantly to developing my LG, Lagelu,” he said.



Ola, who is also the founder of the NGO ‘Ola Inspire’ with the slogan ‘Ola wa Adara’ (Our tomorrow will be better), urged residents to participate and vote in the forthcoming election in Lagelu, emphasizing that voting is not just a right but also an obligation and responsibility of every citizen.



“I appeal to my fellow citizens in Lagelu LG, including fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters, to not only vote for Kamorudeen but also for Hon. Yekini Ola as the returning councillor in Ward 10, and every other candidate,” noted the Ibadan Media CEO



In conclusion, he pleaded with the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) to ensure a peaceful, transparent, free, and fair election, with adequate security measures to protect voters.
