A Nigerian spiritual leader and the founder of One Love Family, based in Ibadan, Oyo State, Sat Guru Maharaj Ji, has lambasted the Aare-Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams over an alleged assassination attempt on his life by President Bola Tinubu, describing the statement as not just distasteful but also a distraction of the highest order.
He wondered why Adams could ever think of President Tinubu planning to kill him, saying of what substantial importance is Gani Adams in Nigeria’s political equation at the Federal level where President Tinubu now operates.
Recall that there have been reports about Gani Adams claiming that President Tinubu was plotting to assassinate him.
A statement by Maharaj described Gani Adams’ claim as not just distasteful but also a distraction of the highest order.
The statement reads: “No human being is spotless. This granite truth applies to Gani Adams and to whoever he claims is designing an assassination project against him.
“Gani Adams was said to have accused Mr Tayo Ayinde, the Chief of Staff of the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Sunday Adeyemo, otherwise known as Sunday Igboho, of serving as hirelings in the alleged assassination plot.
“Looking deep and objectively at the matter, I here state that Gani Adams is better of realizing that he has no moral premise to claim victim where the unwavering Law of Karma holds clearly that man will always reap what he sows.
