There is anxiety in the city of Ipapo, Oke-Ogun area of Oyo State, as some suspected gunmen reportedly kidnapped a popular petrol station attendant, A Mudathir Rosco Nigeria Limited. The sad event occurred on Monday night. According to sources, the gunmen were said to have stormed the station and started firing gunshots into the air.
It was learnt that the kidnappers were looking for the CEO of the filling station but they met his attendant, Aishat Abdulrahman, and they subsequently abducted her. The development has sent fear down the spines of the community.
According to sources, the bad network in the area made it difficult for residents to contact security operatives during the incident. It was also learnt that the CCTV of the petrol station was tampered with and there was no traceable record on it. However, some residents in the area disclosed to our reporter on condition of anonymity that the attack on the petrol station was one of the most coordinated kidnappings in the area in the last few days.
However, the community has made reports at the police station at the time of filing this report.
