A yet- to be identified gunmen suspected to be armed robbers have reportedly killed a commercial motorcyclist, also known as okada, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The sad incident happened on Sunday night at Olorunda Aba town, in Lagelu Local Government Area of the state.
According to an eyewitness who prefers annonymity told The PUNCH that the motorcyclist was conveying his assailants to an unknown destination before he was attacked and killed.
“They (gunmen) went away with his motorcycle,” the eyewitness added.
Efforts to get police reaction were not successful as the Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso’s mobile number was not reachable.
