
The Accord Party House of Representatives Candidate in Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency, Hon. Rotimi Ajanaku has celebrated with the gubernatorial candidate of the party, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, popularly known as Penkelemesi, on the conferment of the National Honour of the Officer of the Federal Republic, OFR on him by President Muhammed Buhari, GCFR, today in Abuja, Nigeria.
Ajanaku, while congratulating the Accord Gubernatorial Candidate, said, the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria deserved the national honor, considering his sterling qualities and immeasurable contributions to national growth and development.
“This is evident when he was the Deputy Governor of the Apex Bank in Nigeria, and served as the Chairman of the Oyo State Security Trust Fund Board of Trustees during the immediate past administration in the State, under Sen. Abiola Ajimobi of blessed memory. Chief Adelabu has served the country and Oyo State meritoriously with his intellectual strength, capacity, competency, and unimaginable integrity, by all standards. Hence the honor is well deserved”.
“I can say that it is worthy to be politically associated with Chief Adelabu He is a thoroughbred professional, whose ingenuity and uncommon intellectual acumen would be of great benefit to the good people of our Pacesetter State if elected as Governor come 2023”, he added.
Ajanaku, therefore, enjoined the good people of Oyo State to vote massively for Chief Adelabu Penkelemesi and all Accord candidates in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
You would recall that Chief Adebayo Adelabu is the Accord Governorship Candidate in Oyo State, while Idris Kolapo Kola-Daisi is the Oyo South Senatorial Candidate and Hon. Rotimi Ajanaku is the Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency House of Representatives Candidate.
Other candidates in his constituency include; Adams Adebayo Yusuf for Ibadan Northwest State Constituency, Diran Alabi, Ibadan Southwest State Constituency 1, and Babamide Ashiru, Ibadan Southwest State Constituency 11, all under the platform of Accord in Oyo State.
