The Oyo state government, under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, has announced to the citizens of the state about a planned demolition of two bridges, which are the bridge on Ona River, Agara Akala Way, New Garage and the one at Odo Ona Kekere, along Ijebu Ode Road.

In a statement issued on the official Facebook page of the State government yesterday, the government said the projects will be executed under the Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project (IUFMP).

While admonishing citizens, especially residents of the affected areas, to endure during the reconstruction, they promised that the exercise will expand the bridges and ease the flow of traffic in the areas.
