The Director-General of the National Orientation Agency, Alhaji Issa-Onilu,has assured Nigerians that he has clear ideas of how to deliver on the mandate of the agency. Onilu made this known during his visit to Ibadan, on Thursday. In a release made available to the press in Ibadan by the media unit of the Agency in Oyo State, he also noted the staffers of the Agency has enormous expertise needed for the task at hand.
The DG who had a brief stop over in Ibadan Airport en-route to Kwara State, was warmly welcomed by the State Director, Dr. Olukemi Afolayan and the Deputy Director Special Duties, Prince Sola Sanda. It will be recalled that Alhaji Onilu was recently appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the 19th October as the Director General of NOA.
In his remarks, Dr Afolayan commended the DG for hitting the ground running in the task of repositioning the agency for optimum performance. This she said have re-energized the staffers. She also said she is highly inspired by the encouraging words of the DG and his reassurance that various challenges confronting the agency are being looked into and will soon be over.
