Don’t Kill Our Businesses, Residents Begs Makinde Over Iseyin-Okeho Road

Residents of Iseyin, in the Oke-Ogun axis of Oyo State, have made a passionate appeal to Governor Seyi Makinde, to come to their rescue as Iseyin-Okeho road is currently in a terrible state, that neither motorists nor tricyclists can ply the route.
An accident recently occured due to the bad condition of the road when a lorry loaded with maize fell into the dungeon at Olugbade Village, located along the road yesterday, after the heavy downnpour.
As at the time of filing this report, there was neither the driver nor eyewitness to give an account of how the accident happened.
In their separate reactions, a motorist, Samuel Adetola, lamented his inability to pass through the route.
He said he had been on the same spot for almost four hours thinking of how he could maneouver his way to Iseyin.
Also, another motorist, Adekunle Salam, said the road has become a death trap. He, however, called on government at all levels to expedite actions on how the road will be fixed.

In her own reaction, a business owner, Ademola Wahab, implore the state government to help in fixing the road, so as not to cripple the business activities of those plying the route.
