One doesn’t deliver a judgment after hearing only one side. Justice requires impartiality and fair hearing. And one doesn’t carve a tall statue without resting its hand on something.

The leaders of Oluyole local government are highly respected which I know are very fair and will continue to deliver judgment with fair hearing.

We are aware that a particular group had said that some have concur to an assumed consensus Candidacy or to a selected aspirant.

We never signed or agreed to this and we believe the respected, committed leaders of the Party in Oluyole local government do not concludes on a selection of an aspirant to those who are masquerading about and dancing a naked masquerade dance.

Oluyole Federal and State Constituency Aspirants Reject Consensus, Adopt Primaries To Elect Oluyole Federal and State Assembly Candidates.

PDP leaders In Oluyole Local Government met on Sunday to discuss who to pick as consensus candidates for Oluyole Federal and State constituency.

The meeting held at 4pm on Sunday, 3rd of April 2022 had only few of the elders and leaders who are supposed to sit at the meeting.

No decision was made and neither anyone reached a compromise.

The aspirants agreed on no consensus candidacy. They all agreed that there is no reason for imposition as all aspirants should be allowed to test their popularity at the primaries.

Leaders at the Oluyole Federal and State Constituency meeting were, Alhaji Olasunkanmi Salami, Executive Chairman of the local government, Honourable Olaide Popoola Settle, Dr Gbola Adetunji, Hon. Depo Oyedokun, Major Kayode Adeyemo, Hon Mukaila Adegbola, Hon Olumide Akinlade Okelawa.

The aspirants were so elated as they will be able to exercise their civic right at the primaries.

It is high time our Great Party leaders in Peoples Democratic Party allow Democratic processes. Why will a party man be so afraid of primaries but result to crooked way, we must put hands on deck to make sure our democracy beta better. This is a party we have sow into and we shall continue to do so to make it better. Why will anyone be so afraid of primaries if one has done well or have all the requirements.

He who must come to the table of justice must come with equity and clean hands. We believe strongly that His Excellency Gov Seyi Makinde shall continue to give a fair hearing to all parties.

The concerned PDP in Oluyole local government of Oyo State stand by the truth and justice that we should go to primaries and that is the only way the party can be so sure of a genuine, sincere and loved aspirants.

Concerned Citizens of Oluyole Local Government.
