Ringii Sports Hub Berth In Ibadan

The management of an Ibadan based entertainment outfit, Ringii Entertainment has revealed plans to turn the showground into a full-blown sporting arena where sporting lovers and sportsmen and women can visit to enjoy live football matches and engage in body-workout under-seasoned instructors.

The arena which was operating as a lounge before at the Ring road axis of Ibadan, according to a statement issued and signed by the CEO of the firm, Ayo Olaniyi, who is popularly known as Iyanda’badan will now be dubbed as ‘Ringii Sports Hub’ with the availability of all sort of facilities for indoor games and body workouts.

Olaniyi who also owns a professional boxing license revealed his plan to launch Extreme Boxing Promotion into full operation; hence his boxers will be entertaining boxing enthusiasts periodically when the arena is fully open at a date yet to be disclosed.

“I have studied our environment carefully and noticed that a place that could serve as a complete sporting arena, where people could come around to watch the live performances of sporting activities, especially boxing is lacking in Ibadan, hence necessitating our resolve to restructure here for such proposes”, Iyanda’badan noted.

He added: “We intend to invest into the lives of our young boxers, by providing them a world class facilities and good guardian under our Extreme Boxing Promotions, and I can tell you that, in the very nearest future, we will be producing the likes of Anthony Joshua that will be winning world title belt for Nigeria”.

“Ringii Sports Hub is going to be a ‘one stop place’ for athletes, sports lovers and boxing enthusiasts where they can come to enjoy top notch sporting facilities and refreshments”.        

Ringii Sports Hub has however received the nods of the stakeholders in the state which includes: Oyo State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Seun Fakorede and the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youths and Sports, Bolarinwa Kazeem and the Chairman of Oyo State Chapter of the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control (NBBofC), Hon Gbenga Opaleye.
