Popular event organizer, Ademola Ajibola aka Moreklue has said that his status as a single man is the reason he has delayed his ambition and won’t be running for political office in the 2019 elections. He made this known in an exclusive interview with our correspondent Ola Olanrewaju on Wednesday.
The renowned convener of Maya Awards Africa amongst other events in Nigeria and Africa, Ademola Ajibola who earlier aspired to run for Osun State House of Assembly in the coming 2019 general election in Osun State said he reached that decision after being advised by a party leader in Osun state and on whether this will hasten his decision to marry, he said ” my principle in life is simple. To live once, die once and also marry once. This is a long walk so I will rather make the best decision than rush into one and rush out and become a laughing stock or a multiple husband. Soon, I will be married and everyone will know. All other requirements, I’m sure I have met”.
He, however, added that once he had met that requirement, he would let nothing stop him from achieving his political ambition.
He shared his thoughts on the 2019 elections saying “I have a couple of people I want to support for this coming elections. I have my people and in different ways will push for them with promotions, campaigns, and all. I want Governor Ambode to come back. I wish to see Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku in the house. I will root for Dapo Lam Adesina and all, but particularly in my state, I am supporting Hon. Desmond Babatunde Ojo of Oriade/Obokun Fed. Constituency and all like that.”
He further advised the youths to keep their heads up and never settle, never stop and to never run away from challenges.
