Ibadan Media Presents Journalists Hangout 2019

The online media platform, Ibadan media (www.ibadanmedia.com) in conjunction with Pixels Digital Photography is organizing a Journalists’ Hangout, a talk/discussion show that will bring together media practitioners from various media outfits to network, have a professional discussion, analyses and express opinion on issues brothering our societies.

The event scheduled for Sunday 28th of July 2019, which was scheduled to hold in Ibadan would have Mr. Tunde Busari, the NUJ Chairman of the Tribune Chapel delivering paper while the Chief Press secretary to the executive governor of Oyo State, Taiwo Adisa delivering a keynote address. The discussants are Mr. Olayinka Agboola, the publisher of www.pmparrot.com and Parrotxtra magazine, Mr. Bisi Oladele, the city editor and South-West Bureau Chief of the Nation newspaper, Dr. Bayo Faleke of Fresh FM and Mr. Demola Babalola of Punch Newspaper and some other invited guests of honour.

The theme of this years’ discussion according to the convener and publisher of Ibadan media, Ola, O. Olanrewaju is ‘Online Journalism: Professional’s concern for the ethical standard’. The event is supported by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) with its Chairman, Niyi Alebiosu promising to mobilize his members for adequate participation and some media organizations that include tribuneonline.ng, The Nation Newspaper, The Punch newspaper,
