A member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina, representing Ibadan North East/South federal constituency has once again added to his growing list of laurels by emerging the Ambassador of Ethics and Conscience of the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation.

The conferment, which came with an Award of Excellence and Man of Conscience, is in recognition of his sterling performance as a federal lawmaker by the organization on Thursday, 8^th March, 2018 at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja.

The Centre, which is a non-governmental organization, is saddled with the responsibility of exposing corruption, promoting ethical leadership and providing ethical education and value orientation to the citizens. It is also majored in carrying out secret assessment on the constituency projects executed by federal and state lawmakers across the 36 states of the Federation and FCT.

The Executive Director of the Centre, Prince Salih Musa Yakubu, who led the team, commended Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina for the execution of peoples’ oriented projects that cut across nooks and crannies of his constituency. He added that Omo Oloore has performed excellently on the ten thematic areas of assessment.

Prince Salih Yakubu posited that Omo Oloore has judiciously used his position to bring the real dividends of democracy to the people of his constituency, in terms of provision of portable water, educational support, sports development, social welfare, economic empowerment, as well as sponsored bills and motions that will add value to the lives of the entire citizenry.

He stated that all the above were verified by the organization before considered him for the award.

While inducting Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina into the organization’s Hall of Fame as “His Excellency Ambassador of Ethics and Man of Conscience”, Prince Yakubu presented a certificate of credence on Omo Oloore constituency office, being rated as one of the few most ethically responsible in Nigeria for the year 2017.

He used the opportunity to implore Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina not to relent in his efforts in bringing more dividends of democracy to his people.

Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina, in his response gave kudos to the organization for considering him for the award after a secret assessment of his performance as a member of the House of Representative since 2015, and promised not to relent in his effort to make life more meaningful for his constituents.

The vibrant lawmaker also advised the organization to do more in the area of educating the people on their duties towards an enduring democratic system.

Omo Oloore implored them to be wary of deceitful politicians who are in the habit of deceiving people with fake promises and poor project execution.
