Catholic Youths of Nigeria, Oyo State have lauded the Mojisola Ladipo Spelling Bee competition. The 3rd edition of the spelling bee which held yesterday, at St. Joseph Catholic church, Oke-ado, Ibadan was described as a unique opportunity for great impact on young ones.
Rev. Father Mikel Woods, Youth Chaplain of the Catholic Arch diocese of Ibadan, expressed his appreciation, noting that it had been a journey of impact. “The lives of young ones have been transformed since the inception of this competition and we can see how they continue to display intelligence ” he said.
In a chat with journalists, Chief Mojisola Ladipo, sponsor of the competition and Chief Executive officer, Editmaid Concept; affirmed that there was an urgent need for young ones to improve their communication skills. ” The inability of young ones to communicate confidently at Job interviews motivated me to start this competition.
