Ajimobi Still In Shock Over Speaker’s Death

The Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has said that he is still in shock over the death of the house of Assembly speaker, Mr Michael Adeyemo.

Governor Ajimobi, who would be speaking publicly for the first time since the demise of the speaker made this known while responding to traditional rulers in Ibadanland who had come to pay a condolence visit to the Oyo state Governor at his office, Secretariat, Ibadan.

The Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, who spoke on behalf of the monarchs, said the loss of the speaker was so sorrowful that has left the state devastated.

Also, Members of the conference of Speakers of Nigeria South west region  condoled with the Oyo state government over the loss of the Speaker of the state house of assembly Hon Michael Adeyemo describing him as a good companion.

They said this at the Oyo state Government House during a condolence visit to the state Governor Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, the Speaker of Osun state house of assembly Honorable Najimdeen Salam said a chapter had been closed among conference of Speakers in the South West region stressing that the death of Hon. Michael Adeyemo was too early to bear for the members.
